Today’s Too Cute To Fur-get subject had a rough start to her life. She was abandoned with her siblings in a box in the front of the humane society. This 2 year-old cat we call “Sassy” was having a hard time trusting people and could not adapt to the shelter life. Sassy sat in the shelter for the first year and a half of her life with no interest or meet and greets. When a new employee started at WCHS, she connected with Sassy and came to realize how sweet she really was. Sassy was adopted by her soon after!

“After adopting Sassy, it took her nearly two months to decompress and become comfortable. Now, she is thriving and is such a happy and outgoing girl. She loves attention and will even roll around on her back when she is in a playful mood. Sassy loves dinner time, head scratches, and mice toys! She has met the other dogs and cats in the home, and she loves them most of all. She is such a fantastic and talkative girl, and I am so happy I took the time to make her feel at home. It is so amazing seeing her progress! She’s blossomed into the perfect companion, and I couldn’t imagine life without her”.
